In 2003, I've founded Betomed Medical Imaging Solutions with TuÄŸrul Akay to capitalize on the opportunities in the medical imaging sector starting with dental imaging.
We've setup an operation for the sales and marketing of intraoral cameras, digital x-rays, imaging equipment and software.
I've also partnered with Basri Kul - one of the most talented and knowledgeable electronics engineers in Turkey - for the development of a ccd based imaging system for intraoral use. After really hardwork, we've managed to build a working prototype using Sony CCDs, DSPs and chipsets. Now, it's time for industrial design and mass production.

I first met Tuğrul Akay during a Xerox training in 1998. After that, due to our ties with mutual friends and Fenerbahçe Sports Club we kept on seeing each other. |
In September 2002, we joined forces to further develop TuÄŸrul's office equipment business - BetoMak - to an end to end information technology solutions company.
